En kvinna drabbades av bröstcancer 2006 och behandlades med cellgifter och strålbehandling. Hon blev sjukskriven, först på heltid, sen 75 procent.
I början av 2008 jobbade hon halvtid i Norge och hade då även halv sjukersättning. I september samma år fattade FK beslutet att dra in hennes sjukersättning. Sen hörde hon inget mer. Någon förklaring kunde de således inte att ge. Kvinnan anmälde då FK justitieombudsmannen (JO) och tillade att det varken fanns någon motivering eller någon dokumentation varför hon egentligen förlorade sin ersättning. Kvinnan fick rätt mot FK som är tvungen att offentligt be henne om ursäkt.
